Administrator – Vacancy – Carlisle

Accountable to:  Office Manager

Accountable for: Administration for the Company

Purpose

Provide support to office operations in a capacity relating to administration, maintaining office systems, monitoring adherence to company policies, and aiding the wider group in critical functional areas.  To ensure all administration activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.  Maintaining office systems, monitoring compliance and interfacing with Senior Management.

Key Duties

Office 

  • Day to Day administration requirements

Administration

  • Assist in maintaining insurances for the business for staff and contractors.
  • Use in-house intranet resources and office 365 suite.
  • Provide support to the Regional Managers and Office Manager as required.

Communication

  • Provide professional and efficient assistance as first point of contact for business enquiries.

Data Analysis

  • Assist in data collation for company reporting across platforms.

Skills/Experience

  • Proficient use of current Office 365 suite i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and Teams.
  • Uploading information and maintaining databases.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Time management, able to manage workload and varying deadlines.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

General Statement

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged and the range of duties and responsibilities to be undertaken.  It does not attempt to detail every activity.  Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the postholder at regular intervals.  The post holder will be required to perform any other reasonable tasks, as requested by the Office Manager in order to meet operational needs of the business.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary from £22,000 – £26,000 per annum. Salary dependent upon experience
  • The company operates a stakeholder pension scheme
  • Annual leave of 20+ days plus bank holidays. Entitlement rises with length of service
